The Soloukhin Russian Literature Society is a keen promoter of Russian culture in Victoria. We promote integration of Russians in Australia and encourage multicultural understanding and dialogue. We also encourage reconciliation amongst various Russian speaking groups with the aim of creating a more cohesive society. We closely work with various artists, musicians and cultural groups to organize meetings and events. This gives an opportunity for existing organizations to demonstrate their achievements while for emerging artist it provides the opportunity to establish new networks and to showcase their talents to the community. We also provide volunteers with the opportunity to acquire new skills and gain transferrable work related experience.
